We are delighted to congratulate OOC DTP alumnus Dr Luca Costa on two significant recent achievements.
Last weekend, Luca graduated from the University of Oxford, marking the successful completion of his doctoral studies. He has also recently been awarded a Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA) Research Scholarship, which will support him in developing his DPhil thesis into a monograph.
Luca's project, Giacomo Leopardi and the Roots of Existentialism, re-examines the origins of existentialism by positioning the Italian poet and philosopher Giacomo Leopardi (1798-1837) as the initiator of atheistic existentialism.
Everyone at the OOC DTP is incredibly proud to see Luca's research continuing to flourish beyond his doctorate. It was a real pleasure to support Luca throughout his studies, and even more so to hear from him again, and celebrate these exciting milestones with him. We warmly congratulate him on both his graduation and receiving this prestigious award, and wish him every success as he embarks on the next stage of his academic career. We look forward to following his future achievements.
