We are pleased to report that the Interfaith Student Society at Cambridge University, co-founded by OOC DTP student Geneva Blackmer and Riya Kartha, has been awarded an Inter Faith Week microgrant.
They were one of 20 recipients out of 100 applicants. The successful projects demonstrated strong local partnerships and imaginative approaches to engaging people beyond existing interfaith networks. Congratulations, Geneva and Riya!
For students in Cambridge, you are welcome to attend the event 'Reaching Across Divides: Sustaining solidarity across social difference':
Tuesday 10 November, 12:15–1:45pm
Room 3, Faculty of Divinity
Sidgwick Site, 25 West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DP
Join us for a participatory discussion, followed by networking and refreshments.
How do we build solidarity across religious divides? What is solidarity, and how can it attend to power?
Together we will explore principles and practices for impactful and equitable engagement across difference in polarising times.
