Congratulations to OOC DTP student Kirsty Peacock (Oxford) who has won the New Researcher Poster Prize at the 2024 Economic History Society Conference for her poster ‘Men must fight, and women must work – and weep’: New opportunities for women clerks in wartime City of London Banks? 1914-1918.
Kirsty is carrying out a Collaborative Doctoral Award with The Baring Archive, researching their records to explore the topic of women working in the City of London.
