We are delighted to celebrate OOC DTP alumna Rose Dryzek, whose latest research has been published in Modern British History.
Rose’s article, “Communities of the Future? Telecottages and the Televillage in 1990s Britain,” explores changing ideas of community, technology and rural life in Britain during the 1990s.
Published in one of the leading journals in modern history, the article makes an important contribution to scholarship on late twentieth-century Britain and the relationship between technological innovation and social change.
The publication reflects the strength of research developed during Rose’s doctoral studies and is a wonderful example of the impact our alumni continue to make across the historical profession.
Congratulations to Rose on this fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud to see our alumni sharing their research with such wide audiences, and we look forward to following the next stage of her academic career. We have no doubt this publication is only one of many exciting milestones to come.
