Piers Haslam marks LGBT History Month at Norfolk Record Office

We’re delighted to share that Piers Haslam, an OOC DTP doctoral student at Cambridge, recently delivered a talk for LGBT History Month at the Norfolk Record Office, where he is currently undertaking his placement.

The event was very well received, with around 40 attendees in person and a further 50 joining online. Piers’ contribution formed part of the Record Office’s wider programme of activities marking LGBT History Month and highlights the important role our students play in engaging wider publics with archival research and historical collections.

It’s fantastic to see placement students making such a meaningful impact in their host institutions and contributing to public conversations around LGBTQ+ histories.

A recording of the talk is now available to watch online.

Many congratulations to Piers on such a successful event.
