About workshop 1: Introduction to collaborative working
Focus: what is a ‘collaborative approach’ and what are the conditions for successful Partnership. Delivered by How2Glu, this workshop will describe the nuts and bolts of collaboration, explore what it means for you, and highlight key strategies for how you can collaborate effectively. You will understand when to use a collaborative approach, the key differences between cooperation and collaboration, explore collaboration skills using glucard™ skill descriptors, key collaborative mindset characteristics and capture insights. We’ll consider a range of challenges that are common to partnership-working and look at how a number of other researchers approached these challenges.
Please note that attendance at Workshop 1 is a prerequisite for attending Workshop 2. It can be attended as a stand-alone workshop too. Following attendance at this workshop you will be invited to attend a 1-1 coaching meeting with the trainer, Sabina, at a time to suit you in November.
