Daisy is a DPhil in Law candidate in public international law at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, supervised by Professor Philippa Webb. Her thesis, ‘Sovereign Wealth Funds as Instruments of Accountability in International Human Rights Law’, seeks to define sovereign wealth funds as actors and assets in the human rights context. Her research will explore how sovereign wealth funds can positively and negatively impact human rights, as well as examining the rules of State responsibility and State immunity, and their application to sovereign wealth funds.
Prior to commencing her DPhil, Daisy completed her Law LLB at King’s College London (First Class Honours), where she was awarded the Jelf Medal, and read for the Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) at Magdalen College, Oxford.
