I completed my undergraduate and MPhil degrees at the University of Cambridge. My MPhil research focused on the hagiotopographies of Bohuslav Balbín and their status as works of scholarship and as expressions of Balbín's patriotism. My PhD research examines the historical and geographical scholarship of a number of Bohemian scholars in the mid-seventeenth century, focusing on the interplay between scholarship, identity, and patriotism in post-White Mountain Bohemia. My PhD is co-funded by the OOC AHRC DTP and the Cambridge Trust.
