Annie Calderbank

Annie is a DPhil student at Oriel College under the supervision of Professor Hindy Najman. Her research focuses on concepts of holiness across the Hebrew Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Annie’s DPhil builds upon her work as an MPhil student, also at Oxford, which explored depictions of divine presence in the Hebrew Bible, Dead Sea Scrolls, and Jewish Greek texts. Before this, she read Theology at Peterhouse, Cambridge.
