I specialise in medieval French literature and modern anglophone pop culture, and I’m particularly interested in transtemporal cross-cultural modes of analysis, especially those inspired by queer theories. My work aims to identify models of collaborative generation of use- and exchange-value in medieval French literature through comparison with 21st century alternative forms of literary production. My areas of interest are principally Arthurian prose romance, vernacular hagiography, comic books, video games, and fandom.
