Ewan White is a DPhil candidate in Law at the University of Oxford and a Researcher in Climate Change Law at the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme. Supervised by Professor Lavanya Rajamani, his doctoral project asks how international environmental law might apply to solar radiation modification.
Outside of his DPhil, Ewan works on a variety of interdisciplinary research projects at the interface between law and science. Much of this research has focused on the legal implications of States’ reliance on carbon dioxide removal to meet climate targets, leading to publications in Climate Policy.
Ewan holds a BA in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford, as a well as an MLitt in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews.
