Jack Stebbing read Music at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, where he won the William Barclay Squire Prize in Music History. He was then awarded the Ralph Leavis–Lydia Chan scholarship to study at Jesus College, Oxford, for a Master of Studies in Musicology, supervised by Professor Elizabeth Eva Leach. He has just finished a year’s placement as a Choral Scholar at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. His doctoral project, jointly funded by AHRC and a Jesus College Hogwood Scholarship, will focus on the post-conquest insular sequence repertory.
