Jasmin Bath is a doctoral student in American history at Clare College, University of Cambridge where she is supervised by Dr. Nicholas Guyatt. She is the first Badger Scholar in American History, and recipient of the Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC DTP - Badger Fund at Clare College Match funded Studentship. Jasmin's research focuses on the interaction between gender and capitalism in early nineteenth-century American urban centres. She also has an interest in women's political history, and political culture in the long nineteeth-century. Jasmin's research can also be found in the Washington Post.
