I am a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies. My research is on queerness in the work of twentieth-century Irish women writers. I am interested in interdisciplinary approaches to literature, particularly around ideas of decoloniality and intersectionality. In this PhD project, I address questions of normativity and marginalisation in Irish culture and seek to articulate new possibilities for queer Irishness. I have a BA in English Literature and French from Durham University and completed my MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge in 2018.
