I graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford in 2016 with a BA in English. I spent two years working first for the Bodleian Library, and then for the National Trust, after which I came to Cambridge to complete an MPhil in Medieval Literature. I am now undertaking a PhD project on rhetoric in medieval contemplative writing, with specific focus on the works of the anonymous fourteenth century Cloud-author, and his influences and contemporaries.
