Chloe Green is a DPhil candidate in Musicology at University College, Oxford. Her research, on representations of gender, love, and disaster in nineteenth-century popular songs about the bicycle, is supervised by Professor Laura Tunbridge.
Chloe graduated with a BA in Music from Somerville College, Oxford, where she received the Gibbs Prize in 2022. In 2024 she completed her MPhil in Musicology with Distinction at Somerville. Chloe is currently a Lecturer in Music at Magdalen College, Oxford. Her research is supported by the AHRC and the Clarendon Fund.
