My PhD research is on the platform art of London Underground of the 1980s and 1990s, and the intersection of post-modernism, neoliberalism and public art. After a career in public health and international development, I moved to the UK to study urbanism with a focus on London and its growth. I have a MSc in Regional and Urban Planning studies from the London School of Economics, and a MA in Art History from the Open University. My PhD is a Collaborative Doctoral Award in partnership with Art on the Underground, and is supervised by Dr. Clare Taylor.
